Job description

Platform Integrations Architect (.NET / Azure / iPaaS / API Platform)
At Foundation Software, we're building the next generation of construction software by connecting products and services into a unified platform. Integrations enable our internal systems and partner applications to exchange data and support connected workflows.
We are seeking a Platform Integrations Architect who will help execute and operationalize our integration strategy. This role is focused on designing and implementing integrations across products and partner systems using modern API, event-driven, and integration platform technologies.
If you enjoy solving complex integration challenges, building scalable integration frameworks, and enabling connectivity across systems, we'd love to connect.
What is great about working for Foundation? Plenty! We have a fun, casual, yet hard-working culture that invests in our employees, promotes creativity, and delivers on our reputation. Would you like to work for a company that offers manicures and pedicures in the office? We do! How about massages, house cleaning, laundry service, monthly car washes, catered lunches Wednesdays and a monthly happy hour - we offer all this and more!
At Foundation we believe in and promote a work-life balance with a top-notch workout facility, fitness classes and free personal training; and for those competitive types, a game room complete with table tennis, foosball, and video game systems. Also, some comforts of home, there is a full kitchen, free coffee and specialty flavors, soft drinks, and snacks.
Implement Platform Integration Architecture

  • Translate integration strategy and architectural guidelines into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Configure and enable integrations using iPaaS platforms to accelerate partner connectivity.
  • Support integration patterns including:
    • API-based integrations
    • Event-driven messaging

    • Workflow orchestration

Evolve the API Platform

  • Ensure APIs follow established standards for security, performance, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Help enable partner integration through well-documented APIs and integration tooling.

Mature Integration Delivery & DevOps
  • Implement DevOps practices for integrations including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
  • Maintain monitoring and observability for integrations to ensure reliability and operational transparency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across systems.

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work closely with product management, architecture, and engineering teams to support end-to-end business workflows.
  • Assist engineering teams in implementing integration best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of integration tooling, patterns, and development practices.

Experience
  • 7+ years of experience building modern software systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing system integrations and API-based architectures.
  • Strong experience with .NET, C#, and REST API development.

Integration Technologies
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Prismatic, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
  • Experience building and operating an integration marketplace enabling internal teams and external partners to connect through standardized APIs and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems.

Cloud & Platform Skills
  • Experience building cloud-based solutions using Azure services such as API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, or Functions.
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and modern integration patterns.

DevOps & Delivery
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining reliable integration pipelines and operational monitoring.

Collaboration
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, product, and support teams.
