Job Description

As the Advisor - Direct Response, Integrated Solutions & Optimization Team you will be responsible for partnering to develop, design and implement strategic solutions to execute the development and execution of direct response efforts generated with production and logistic performance. Works closely with internal and external teams to determine needs and carry out business solution activities including pricing analysis, traffic & workflow efforts, inventory control & mail fulfillment processes, and delivery tracking analysis. Provides ongoing project management to aid in the timely development and implementation of defined projects. Leads collaboration to ensure quality of work, accuracy and timely execution of operational functions necessary to support Direct Marketing & multi-channel strategies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Plays a lead role in direct response operations for production, workflow & delivery performance including identifying, creating & implementing pricing strategies to meet goals & objectives within specified timeframes.
  2. Uses a high degree of concentration to conduct pricing reviews and analysis for costs received from external partners derived from direct response programs including roll out pricing test strategies. Ensures pricing is in line with expenses and leads efforts to identify cost saving efficiencies among multi-channel direct marketing procurement needs. Works in partnership with external vendors to facilitate multi-phase pricing process to ensure deliverables are met.
  3. Responsible for leading the logistical implementation of production & procurement requirements associated with multi-channel direct response programs including direct mail, digital, media and tele-funding programs.
  4. Assists with the tactical day-to-day activities required to execute deployment tasks associated with project management needs to various business activities. Works in tandem with Direct Marketing teams to maximize efficiencies.
  5. Leads collaboration to foster innovation into complex traffic workflows and mail delivery performance for direct response programs. Produces enhanced reporting visuals to ensure goals are met and results are shared.
  6. Works with internal & external partners to ensure all MSA, SOWs, etc are developed and executed timely for Direct Marketing production & logistics providers.
  7. Ensures materials and resources are maintained in conjunction with sourcing and fulfillment requirements for direct response programs. Provides oversight to inventory management and monitors progress. Works closely with Supply Chain for premium sourcing and procedures.
  8. Works in partnership with Direct Marketing Campaign Development, One-time Giving, and Sustainer Direct Response teams to ensure execution of projects and needs meet deadlines. Communicates and troubleshoots issues that arise to management and stakeholders.
  9. Spearheads special projects and serves as a key member for cross-divisional collaboration for integrated solution & optimization team expertise.
  10. Participates in key organizational initiatives as assigned by Direct Marketing leadership team.
Job Requirements
  • Requires thorough knowledge of direct marketing, fundraising or marketing practices to drive solution & operational support.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management and oversight for direct marketing production and logistic processes.
  • Requires excellent attention to detail, experience in leading workflows and oversight to direct response campaign support.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a high performing work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to speak and write in clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations.
  • Thorough knowledge of English spelling, grammar and usage as well as understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions.
  • 5 years of experience in Marketing/Business or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as print procurement & production skills in a non-profit organization is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management & traffic tools is preferred.
Location & Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based at ALSAC's National Executive Office (NEO) in Memphis, Tennessee. Team members are expected to work a combination of on-site and remote days in accordance with organizational hybrid work guidelines.
