The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization within the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team of Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) is seeking Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialists, Technical Publications Developers, and Technical Instructors to work onsite in McKinney, Texas.
What You Will Do
Create and maintain technical manuals, including content addressing system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns, utilizing system product information, compiled technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
Research technical documentation, engineering personnel input, and other subject matter experts to design effective learning and documentation solutions.
Develop and maintain operations and maintenance training technical content, including presentations and accompanying materials.
Assess engineering change data for impacts to existing technical content.
Deliver instructor-led classroom training to stakeholders as required.
Conduct training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities and materials.
Interface with the DoD customer and international partner to optimize products and solutions in support of achieving maximum Operational Readiness and compliance with contractual requirements as well as establishing open communications and building trust.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in logistics, system documentation, and training development and/or delivery for technical systems
The role will require domestic and international travel (up to 30%)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Active DoD Clearance
Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or similar electronic systems
Adobe tools (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, FrameMaker), Microsoft Office 365, HTML/XML, and ILS databases such as EAGLE LPD and EAGLE EPS
Interpret, create, and deliver technical documentation, illustrations, and graphics
Develop documentation using military standards (MIL-STD / MIL-SPEC)
DoD radar, sensor, or electronic system programs
Mil-Spec documentation (S3000L, S2000M, S1000D)
Experience developing and delivering training in either a military or civilian environment

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
