Job Summary
We are seeking a medical receptionist to join our practice.   Must be a responsible, motivated and flexible individual.   Must be available to commute to satellite office (Toms River) when necessary.    The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable about healthcare practices. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, and healthcare staff
  • Greet patients and visitors
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Answer patient inquiries
  • Explain intake forms to patients
  • Process patient payments 
  • Obtain prior authorizations via Evicore
  • Obtain health insurance benefits


 
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar position is preferred
  • Experience with Practice manager and Chartmaker clinical software
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to work in fast-paced situations 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of compassion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
