Law Firm Intake Coordinator


Position Overview
The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a critical role in the client experience. This position is responsible for handling incoming calls, gathering case information, screening potential cases, and ensuring that qualified matters are promptly routed to attorneys or legal staff. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and able to work in a fast-paced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients
  • Conduct initial client interviews and collect relevant information regarding potential legal claims
  • Evaluate potential cases based on firm guidelines and criteria
  • Accurately enter and maintain client information in the firm’s case management system
  • Schedule consultations with attorneys or paralegals
  • Follow up with prospective clients regarding documentation and case status
  • Maintain detailed notes of all communications with potential clients
  • Ensure confidentiality of all client information
  • Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff regarding new case evaluations
  • Assist with tracking and reporting new case leads and referral sources
