DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

Under direct supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN/LPN), the CNA provides compassionate, hands-on support with daily living activities, basic nursing care, and diligent patient observation to promote resident safety, comfort, and wellbeing in a skilled nursing environment .

Key Responsibilities1. Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Support
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, shaving, nail care .

  • Help with dressing, toileting, and incontinence care; offer ostomy support per facility policy .

  • Provide mobility assistance: turning, repositioning, transfers (e.g., bed ↔ wheelchair), ambulation with devices .

  • Assist in feeding and monitor nutritional/fluid intake, ensuring adherence to dietary orders .
