Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Intake Counselor with recent behavioral health experience who will e nsure that all intake calls are answered promptly and courteously. Provides Crisis Intervention, Telephonic Triage, and Clinical Assessments. Provides callers and families with Community Resources and Information; Obtains Admission Precertification. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Internal and External Customers, including other Departments, Physicians, and the Emergency Departments. Works as a Team Player to ensure Customer Service to patients, families, and other Associates. Responsible for on-site and/or off-site assessments.
SummitRidge Hospital , a place for healing and hope provides quality behavioral health and addiction treatment services, mental health and substance abuse treatment located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, approximately 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. Our inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient programs have helped adolescents, adults, older adults and their families.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's in psychology or social work or related field. Licensed or License eligible.
  • Five (5) years post graduate experience in a psychiatric setting preferred
Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience in a psychiatric setting .
