Staff Accountant
Pay: $60K-$75K/Year | Location: 14055 Cedar Rd., South Euclid, OH 44118 | Schedule: M-F 9-5

The Role Itself
  • Responsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.
  • Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.
  • Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.
  • Assists department management in preparation for various audits
  • Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Work Experience:
    • 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
    • Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
    • Multi-entity experience
    • Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
  • Other Requirements
    • Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
    • Excellent Excel skills are required.
    • Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
    • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
    • Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.
