To thrive in Insurtech remote jobs, you generally need a background in insurance, technology, or data analysis, often supported by a relevant degree or industry certifications. Familiarity with insurtech platforms, cloud-based tools, data analytics software, and CRM systems is typically required. Strong communication, self-motivation, and time management are soft skills that help professionals excel in remote environments. These skills ensure effective collaboration, innovation, and productivity while meeting the unique demands of remote work in the rapidly evolving insurance technology sector.

What are Insurtech remote jobs?

Insurtech remote jobs are positions within companies that use technology to innovate and improve the insurance industry, allowing employees to work from any location instead of a traditional office. These roles can include software engineers, data analysts, customer support representatives, business analysts, and product managers, among others. Remote work in Insurtech enables access to a broader talent pool and provides flexibility for employees, while still supporting the development and deployment of technology-driven insurance solutions.

What are some common challenges faced when working remotely in an insurtech role, and how can they be addressed?

Working remotely in insurtech often involves navigating time zone differences, maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams, and adapting to rapidly evolving technology. To address these challenges, it's important to establish clear communication channels, utilize collaboration tools, and set regular check-ins with your team. Staying proactive about updates in insurtech trends and participating in virtual training can also help remote employees stay connected and effective in their roles.

Job description

We're partnered exclusively with a high-growth, venture-backed AI insurtech transforming how commercial insurance brokers identify, qualify, and win new business. Their platform delivers real-time market intelligence, giving brokers a clear competitive edge—better data, faster decisions, and ultimately more revenue. In a market still driven by relationships and legacy processes, they're bringing a new level of insight and efficiency to broker distribution. With strong backing and rapid momentum across the US, they're now hiring an Account Executive to help scale revenue within the broker and MGA market.
About the Role
This is a true hunter role focused on selling into commercial insurance brokers and MGAs. You'll own the full sales cycle end-to-end—from outbound prospecting through to close—operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Build and own your pipeline from day one
Target commercial brokers, MGAs, and distribution leaders
Close high-impact deals in a market that rewards speed and precision
This isn't a "warm desk" role. They're looking for someone who creates opportunities, not waits for them.
Qualifications
3–5 years B2B SaaS sales experience (ideally within insurtech, insurance, or financial services)
Proven ability to run a full-cycle sales process (not reliant on SDR support)
Experience selling to brokers, underwriters, or insurance distribution teams
Strong pipeline management, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
Genuine curiosity about the insurance market and desire to build domain expertise

Preferred Skills
Experience selling to brokers, underwriters, or insurance distribution teams
Strong pipeline management, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy
Pay range and compensation package
Competitive base + uncapped commission
Equity in a high-growth, early-stage insurtech
Remote-first with a strong, collaborative culture
Opportunity to be an early commercial hire in a genuinely differentiated platform
