We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Funding Verification Specialist to join our finance team. This position is responsible for reviewing completed finance deals to ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant before funding. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and review all completed finance deals submitted by dealerships/lots.
  • Audit deal packets to ensure all required paperwork is present, accurate, and properly executed.
  • Verify that all customer signatures, dates, and documents are complete and valid.
  • Identify and document any missing stipulations ("STIPS") or outstanding items required for funding.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with dealership personnel, managers, and internal staff regarding missing or incorrect documentation.
  • Review supporting documentation for consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all documents are properly scanned and uploaded into the appropriate customer account.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files for all contracts and deal documentation.
  • Track outstanding stipulations and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with funding preparation and quality control processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
  • Contact employers to verify customer employment information when required.
  • Contact landlords and other applicable references to verify residency and address information when required.
  • Perform additional administrative and verification duties as assigned.
