Front Desk Operations Supervisor (Full-Time)

The Position

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of front office and reception services throughout Pinellas County. This leadership position works closely with operational, clinical, and billing teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience, efficient front office workflows, accurate insurance verification, and effective patient access to services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field Required
• Minimum of Six (6) Years of Supervisory Experience in a Community Healthcare or Behavioral Health Setting Required
• Experience Working in a Highly Service-Oriented Environment Required
• Experience Working with Multiple Healthcare Service Lines Required
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) Systems Required
• Knowledge of Health Insurance Plans and Eligibility Verification Processes Required
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations and Healthcare Terminology Required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Required
• Strong Leadership, Organizational, Critical Thinking, and Time Management Skills Required
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Required
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
• Experience Working with Under-Resourced Populations Preferred
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with Acceptable Driving Record Required
• Reliable Transportation with Valid Registration and Insurance Required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front office operations across assigned locations
• Provide leadership, coaching, training, and support to front office staff
• Oversee employee performance management and annual evaluations
• Manage departmental staffing schedules, PTO requests, and timecard approvals
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained for patients and staff
• Monitor insurance verification processes and patient eligibility requirements
• Assist with front desk and insurance verification duties as needed
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and billing teams to improve patient access and workflow efficiency
• Respond to and assist with patient concerns to improve overall satisfaction
• Participate in workflow development and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with site meetings, departmental communications, and staff training activities
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
• Participate in meetings, committees, and ongoing professional development activities
