Front Desk Supervisor

Location: Family Medical Center

Family Medical Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and service-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead our patient access team. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming patient experience while developing a high-performing, engaged front office team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front desk staff, fostering a positive and accountable work environment
  • Build strong employee relationships through coaching, mentoring, recognition, and open communication
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of exceptional customer service
  • Oversee patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and check-in/check-out processes
  • Ensure accurate patient demographics and insurance information
  • Assist with front office staffing, training, onboarding, and performance development
  • Address patient concerns and employee issues professionally and effectively
  • Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative departments to improve workflow and patient satisfaction
  • Monitor daily operations and identify opportunities for process improvement

Qualifications

  • Previous medical office and supervisory experience required
  • Medical billing knowledge and insurance verification experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of front office operations and revenue cycle processes
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Phreesia is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive employee relations and develop cohesive, high-performing teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
