Key Responsibilities

In the role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on several vital responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting thorough initial assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health issues, history, and goals.
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with specific client objectives, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions with adult clients, integrating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness techniques.
  • Providing immediate crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating your calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Comfortably integrating teletherapy platforms for ongoing virtual client support.
  • Engaging in regular professional development to remain current with mental health trends and continuing education requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse clientele of Guided Psychotherapy Techniques Services includes adults grappling with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic and supportive approach to therapy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively handle caseloads and maintain accurate records.
  • A clean disciplinary record with the relevant licensing board.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with the following experience will be favored:

  • Previous experience providing therapy in a community health or outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • A strong background in treating diverse populations and adapting therapeutic techniques to meet individual client needs.
