Job description

Description

Cornerstone CDC, a private preschool in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, is seeking a full-time Toddler Teacher to join our staff. This teacher will partner with a team teacher to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for a classroom of adorable and eager children!

We are seeking candidates who are energetic, nurturing and enjoy working as part of a team. We are a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool program where we focus on the whole child--empowering their thoughts, questions, interests, and in turn fostering a lifelong love of learning.

We offer a competitive benefits package that includes a schedule offering 1 day off every-other week, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays and snow days, annual performance bonuses, medical & dental insurance plans, disability and life insurance and a retirement plan.

Starting for this position is between $33,000-$45,000 annually depending upon experience and education.

Requirements

Candidate must have teaching experience in a Type I childcare facility or school system to be considered for this position. Ideal candidate will have CDA/Associate's Degree or higher.

This position requires movement in and out of chairs, sitting and getting up from a seated position on the floor, prolonged amounts of time standing both in and outdoors, and lifting weight of up to 50 pounds.
