As an Auto Mobile Advisor, reporting to the Branch Manager, you will build, serve, and maintain relationships with clients and local dealerships throughout the community to provide diverse insurance coverage and products.

A day in the life -

  • Build relationships with clients, colleagues and dealership representatives to grow your professional network.

  • Proactively and creatively offer solutions using a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products while achieving performance targets.

  • Process a wide variety of auto insurance transactions including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more.

  • Develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines.

What you bring -

  • Level 2 General Insurance License is considered an asset

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Demonstrated sales experience and drive

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions

  • Weekend and Evening availability

  • Willing to use own personal vehicle to travel to dealerships (mileage reimbursement)

Salary Expectations -

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, ie., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate's book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $45,000 to $55,000, plus commissions that will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
