OT/ICS Security Specialist – BFSI

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

About the Role

We are seeking an OT/ICS Security Specialist to secure operational technology environments supporting critical facilities, infrastructure, and enterprise operations within regulated financial organizations.


IMPORTANT NOTE – BFSI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Candidates must have experience supporting cybersecurity programs within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Data Centers, Payment Processing Facilities, or other highly regulated environments.

Candidates without BFSI experience will not be considered.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct OT/ICS cybersecurity assessments.
  • Develop OT security standards and controls.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and risk reviews.
  • Support network segmentation initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to OT-related security incidents.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
  • Support compliance with industry security standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of OT/ICS security experience.
  • Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, and industrial protocols.
  • Familiarity with IEC 62443 and NIST frameworks.
  • Strong risk management and incident response experience.
Preferred Certifications
  • GICSP
  • CISSP
  • ISA/IEC 62443 Certifications
