What you will do

We areseekinga Staff Engineer with deepexpertisein ServiceNow to lead architecture, design scalable solutions, and drive engineering excellence.You willshape technical direction and raise the effectiveness ofthe team.You will play a key role in designing, developing, andmaintainingscalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM). The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, experience in stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of platform best practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both:

  • Strategic thinking (architecture, standards, platform vision)

  • Execution depth (solution design, complex build, integration patterns)

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary technical authority for ServiceNow and integrations

  • Provide deep hands-on support in complex design and troubleshooting scenarios

  • Mentor engineers and elevate overall technical capability of the team

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the teamtoelevate the team

  • Lead architecture reviews, POCs, and technology evaluations

  • Design and deliver solutions usingServiceNow (App Engine, UI Builder, Now Experience, Flow Designer,IntegrationHub, ATFs)

  • Drive reuse and standardization across ServiceNow applications

  • Optimizeplatform usageand follow ServiceNow best practicesto reduce technical debt and operational overhead

  • Lead technical design and development efforts ensuring scalability and maintainability

  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements andprovidetechnical guidance on platform capabilities.

  • Supportadditionalmodules such as Software Asset Management (SAM) and Contract Management.

  • Collaborate in an Agile (SAFe) environment,participatingin sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow platform standards and governance.

  • Learn and champion DevOps practices.

  • Developproficiencyin and support configuration automation platforms, including Blue Prism and Power Automate, to drive process efficiency and integration.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain

  • 6+years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.

  • ActiveServiceNowCIS-Risk certification.

  • Proven experience in technical leadership, including mentoring and guiding development teams

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices for scalability and maintainability

  • Experience conducting stakeholder workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Integration Experience including:

  • Familiarity with Integration Hub and use of out-of-box spokes

  • Ability to design and build custom integrationsleveragingREST API's and OAuth

  • Deep hands-on experience withServiceNow (UI Builder, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer,IntegrationHub, Workspaces)

  • Proven experience inArchitecture ownership

  • Experience working in an Agile (SAFe) framework

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience engaging with senior leadership.
