Position Summary:

The Client Relationship Manager partners closely with Loan Originators to support the origination process from lead through closing while delivering an exceptional borrower experience. This role combines loan structuring, pipeline management, borrower relationship management, and business development support, providing a strong foundation for growth within the Sales organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support Loan Originators in sizing, documenting, and closing loans.

  • Manage lead and loan activities in the CRM (Salesforce) on behalf of Loan Originators

  • Evaluate transactions using standardized tools to size deals, create quotes, and draft term sheets.

  • Complete file escalations including pricing, structuring, and tiering exceptions

  • Pre-qualify loan packages and obtain required borrower documentation.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Processing, Valuations, Construction, and Underwriting teams to ensure smooth loan pipeline progression.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in mortgage lending, private lending, banking, financial services, real estate, or a customer-facing sales support role preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong work ethic and initiative, with proven leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Eagerness to learn private lending and real estate finance.

  • Effective written and verbal communication.

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position which requires in-office reporting to Anchor's Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Remote work is optional Monday and Friday.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $70,304 to $85,000 per year, plus annual discretionary bonus based on performance of the individual and company.
