Job description

PROJECT MANAGER
As a Project Manager, you will be the owner of the overall project delivery function and be responsible for the outcome of the project execution. The position will work to successfully deliver Celeros' projects in a manner that fulfils contractual and technical requirements, meets or exceeds customer expectations, and adheres to safety and ethical standards, while achieving Celeros' target margins and promoting our reputation in the marketplace.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads and delivers projects that are >$1M, have technical/specification/operational risks.
  • Plays a critical part in the full project lifecycle -- from participation in tendering activity, including proposals, through to project closure/cash collection.
  • Manages project complexity involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, a degree of technical complexity, occasional multi-site coordination, global and virtual team working, and high levels of functional integration.
  • Owns each assigned project, responsible for resolving project problems promptly, and maintaining project quality and adherence to schedule and budget.
  • For each project, key responsibilities include managing project handover and risk management, customer relations, contract management, setting the overall schedule, executing the project, managing costs, managing internal business partners, reviewing and reporting progress, variation order management, assuring OTD, collecting cash, project closeout and LD negotiations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to manage projects through influence diplomatically. Customer-facing experience as well.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage a larger volume of projects/orders simultaneously.
  • Proven experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project & SharePoint.
  • Experience working with an international customer base.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Industrial or Power & Energy markets.
  • Experience with ASME Section III Code requirements.
  • Experience in dealing with complex customer specifications and documentation requirements.
  • Professional background in manufacturing, with a technical aptitude in engineering.

Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $110,000 - 115,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Location: Houston, Westplain Campus
Work Environment: On-site Monday - Friday
