We are actively recruiting for a Regional Operations Manager, Surgical Services to join our growing team at EyeSouth Partners.

The successful Project Manager, De Novo Construction, will project manage all aspects related to the construction of new and existing ambulatory surgery center (ASC) locations in assigned region from initiation to completion. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the project, ensuring adherence to both budget and schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of ASC construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely completion.
  • Utilizes pre-construction understanding of operational considerations to consistently assess project risks and formulates mitigation plans as needed. Successfully develops and updates project budgets as required.
  • Monitor project costs and take action to control expenses
  • Liaise with all 3rd party support, including but not limited to architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to management of the procurement process, including bid evaluations and vendor selection.
  • Manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements, especially all regulatory requirements related to healthcare compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the evolving regulatory landscape for ASCs, including licensing, accreditation, and safety standards.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication between all parties.
  • Gather, analyze, and report data for fiscal and statistical analysis.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Cohesive leadership and project management skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to address issues as they arise.
  • Ability to manage the performance of multiple 3rd party contractors at once, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.

Education And Experience:

  • Must be willing to travel to all assigned locations
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in construction of healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
