Project Manager Restoration & ReconstructionPosition Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects from initial assignment through completion. This position manages project planning, estimating, scheduling, quality control, customer communication, and subcontractor coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to company standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in insurance restoration, reconstruction, and project management, along with strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Manage multiple restoration and reconstruction projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and production plans.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and code compliance requirements.
Estimating & Insurance Coordination
  • Prepare and review estimates using Xactimate.
  • Work with insurance carriers, adjusters, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
  • Manage supplements, change orders, and scope revisions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
  • Set and manage customer expectations.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and next steps.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Quality Control
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
  • Maintain detailed job notes, photos, and project documentation.
  • Verify completion of work prior to project closeout.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of restoration, reconstruction, or construction project management experience.
  • Xactimate estimating experience required.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and scopes of work.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements
