Pay Range: $75,555 - 86,888.25 /yr.
$3,000 Sign-on bonus!
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Program Manager will oversee and serve as the senior clinician for the Northside Residential Programs at Trilogy. The Program Manager will provide direct clinical supervision and coaching for team members, run effective team meetings, and oversee clinical services for the programs. The Program Manager will develop and administer tracking systems for required documentation to ensure quality service delivery and effective interventions to clients. They will ensure that capacity for the programs is filled and have advanced knowledge of CES, HMIS, HUD, and homelessness systems navigation as well as harm reduction philosophy. The Program Manager will routinely interface with other Managers and the Executive Team and external partners to enhance communication, and cooperation/collaboration across programs/departments and community partners to improve the quality and comprehensiveness of services provided. They will direct and create the schedule for the program and complete interviewing and training for new staff.
The Program Manager will provide and ensure the team provides strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed services to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use utilizing a harm reduction approach.
Responsibilities
  • Manage client moves into and out of the programs which include all required state reporting, funding requirements, and treatment planning for appropriate levels of care. This includes requirements for CES, HMIS, HUD, and the building to be in compliance.
  • Monitor and adjust employee schedules and allocate resources accordingly to ensure enough clinical time is scheduled to meet direct service requirements while maintaining program budget.
  • Review program budget and program needs regularly and make adjustments as needed for staffing, supplies, client assistance, etc.
  • Provide effective supervision and coaching to all assigned team members. Train new employees to provide quality services to clients. Ensure continued education and training for assigned employees to strengthen services provided.
  • Evaluate program's effectiveness in meeting deliverables, recommend modifications in service structure or operations that affect the program, and develop plans to improve program performance.
  • Represent Trilogy and the program to external partners. Participate in meetings, committees, and work groups as needed.
  • Model a client-centered, recovery-oriented approach to services that includes the use of evidenced based practices, i.e. trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction techniques
  • Assess the team's morale and continue to work towards keeping employee and team culture positive.
  • Support with tracking capacity for the programs to ensure that beds are filled.
  • Support team members with crisis interventions such as petitioning and wellness checks.
  • Support team members with building engagement skills and assessment related to substance use and identifying stages of change with clients.
  • Model effective communication within the team model for a multi-disciplinary approach to client care.
  • Complete interviewing and onboarding of new employees and ongoing training of staff to provide quality services to clients.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure charts are in compliance with Medicaid, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Services (CARF), HUD, and organization standards.
  • Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other closely related field or otherwise meet QMHP requirements
  • Minimum two years experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
  • Supervisory or leadership experience highly preferred
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License with daily access to a vehicle. Must have $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance.
  • Experience working in a residential 24-hour program highly preferred
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience and expert knowledge related to harm reduction services
