Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) is a national, not-for-profit leader in senior living and healthcare, dedicated to empowering people to lead meaningful lives as they age. We are seeking a Workday Program Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our Workday platform across HR, Payroll, and Finance. This is a high-impact leadership role partnering with executive teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and system excellence across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing: You will lead the strategic planning, execution, and management of Workday implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across the organization. The role will involve coordinating with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and teams to ensure that the system meets organizational goals for human resources, payroll, and finance functions. You will ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with business requirements.
Salary: $135,000 - $155,000 / annually DOE
Southern Oregon-based candidates are strongly preferred to support close collaboration with internal teams; however remote candidates from (WA, CA, AZ, CO) may be considered for the right fit. Geographic market standards are considered for compensation.
How You'll Do It:
  • Lead the Workday Center for Excellence by providing ongoing support, administration, and optimization across all functional areas, ensuring alignment with PRS community business functions across affiliate and managed entities, while strengthening system governance, data integrity, and user adoption.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Workday roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business processes, enhance efficiencies, and oversee end-to-end implementation management, including system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Oversee Workday support operations by managing internal and external help tickets to meet service level agreements (SLAs), facilitating clear communication between departments, resolving issues proactively, and serving as the primary point of contact for vendors to maintain strong relationships and negotiate contract terms.
  • Manage bi-annual Workday upgrades by assessing business process impacts, coordinating cross-functional testing efforts, overseeing user acceptance testing, ensuring post-upgrade validation, and providing regular project status updates and strategic presentations to leadership.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training and change management strategies to support new feature adoption and ongoing system education, collaborate with business intelligence teams to enhance reporting and dashboards, and serve as a positive change agent championing Workday adoption, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, IT project management or a related field.
  • Experience managing Workday implementations, optimizations, and day-to-day operations across all business functions (including HR, payroll, and finance) preferred. Previous senior living experience is preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience managing technically complex business cases and proven ability to work successfully with cross functional work teams.
  • Workday certification is required. Additional certification in project management or experience with project management best practices is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
