Job description

We're an agency of makers with deep expertise in solving creative, production and technology challenges. Our focus is on making better work to help brands work better, and our production roots ensure that every great idea gets delivered right. From branding & design, photoshoots and video production, ecommerce builds or anything in between, thelab mixes inspiration and hard work to produce results that mean business. Oh, and we host a mean barbecue too.


The Role:

We are hiring a Digital Project Manager to join our team. This role sits between our internal creative team and our clients, and is the lead point of contact for all briefing, feedback and scheduling. You will oversee a team responsible for creative development and execution of digital campaigns across a variety of media (paid, organic social, video & animation).

You will be responsible for ownership of your projects from brief to wrap, creating and maintaining schedules, managing all client communication and alignment, critical problem solving and ensuring that your team has what it needs to be successful every step of the way.

The ideal candidate has experience managing both strategic messaging development and creative execution. A comfort working across multiple disciplines is important, as projects can entail defining audience goals, design, animation, photo/video and animation components.




You Will Be:

  • Experienced in a hybrid account/project management/production role in an agency or in-house setting
  • Able to create and maintain schedules for short-to-intermediate length projects
  • Responsible for owning status reports, scheduling and leading videoconferences, client coordination and follow-ups, as some of your daily, routine tasks.
  • Well versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms including print, social, display, CRM, video and digital.
  • Comfortable working with creatives with a knowledge of the creative process
  • Client partner/steward for the business relationship and a point of escalation for client issues.
  • Being a highly effective liaison between client and creative production team is a must, as well as being able to interpret and communicate strategic and tactical feedback
  • Collaborative, self-managing, and able to partner well with others
  • Proficient and comfortable using technology aids to support planning, routing and collaboration


You Are:

  • Equipped with 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Account Manager or Producer preferably in an agency setting
  • A natural leader with excellent motivation and conflict management skills
  • Able to own assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery against deadlines
  • Adept and passionate about rolling with the punches of a project, and being proactive and available
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up
  • Able to learn quickly and comfortable asking questions
  • Able to work well in a team setting. Ability to mentor is a strong plus
  • Familiar with production processes in video, print and digital workstreams and able to incorporate implications to schedule building and maintenance
  • Experience with creative testing is a plus

  • Currently a Hybrid work environment, with Tues-Thurs in our office in the Madison Square Park Area.
  • Salary is 90,000-100,000
