Sr. Technical Product Manager, Aviation Safety Management SaaS- Full-Time
Location: Cary, NC, 27513
What you will be doing:

  • Take complete day-to-day ownership of the Baldwin SMS software.
  • Work with in-house safety experts, engineers & customers to learn the industry and become an expert on the Baldwin SMS software.
  • Transform high-level business requirements into actionable development tasks in JIRA.
  • Collaborate with engineers on the implementation, answer questions, make product decisions, remove impediments, propose solutions.
  • Become the go-to resource for all customer support, product and engineering questions related to the Baldwin SMS.
  • Assist customer support with troubleshooting product issues, as necessary.
  • Perform pre-release testing and troubleshoot reported issues as they arise.
  • Assist with drafting product documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain product-related communication with customers and third-party vendors.

Experience you will need:

  • Experience being the primary product manager of a complex SaaS, B2B or enterprise product, preferably in a small-to-medium company environment.
  • Results oriented & ready to take on the responsibility of making quick decisions and reducing the 'idea to code-in-production' cycle.
  • Structured logical thinking: able to simplify complex concepts, devise workable solutions and communicate clearly both internally and externally.
  • Experience working with API documentation, JSON file structure, SQL queries, and API testing using Postman or a similar tool.
  • Ability to multitask and work in an unstructured small team environment.
  • Ownership mentality; ability to make decisions under pressure; have analytical and troubleshooting skills, and an attentiveness to details.
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days a week in the Cary, North Carolina office.
