As a Product Analyst within Insurance Operations, you'll play a critical role in bringing new insurance products to market by translating complex product designs into accurate, scalable administration system solutions. You'll partner across Operations, Product, Actuarial, and Technology to ensure our administration platforms deliver exceptional quality, accuracy, and customer outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical product expertise to support the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of insurance products and administration system enhancements.

  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, tools, and validation processes to ensure the accuracy of product calculations, illustrations, and system functionality.

  • Perform complex insurance product calculations, analyze unique scenarios, and develop manual solutions for calculations not supported by existing systems.

  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using Visual Basic and other technologies to improve data management, streamline product implementation, and reduce manual effort.

  • Create and maintain documentation for testing methodologies, automation tools, system functionality, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.

  • Collaborate across business and technology teams to solve complex problems, improve operational efficiency, and support successful product launches.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of insurance operations, product administration, product implementation, systems analysis, or related experience in the insurance or financial services industry, or relevant experience.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to analyze, validate, and manage data.

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex business and technical problems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic or similar programming/automation tools preferred; curiosity and AI fluency to leverage automation technologies that improve quality and efficiency are highly valued.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, collaborate across teams, and drive continuous improvement with a bias for action.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.
