Operations Associate I
The Operations Associates assist our financial advisors and broader team with managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics when dealing with others and performing work activities. The Operations Associate is responsible for providing support services for assigned Financial Advisors as well as orphaned accounts for the OSJ. Duties include, but are not limited to, administrative tasks, business processing, executing trades for clients within the scope of their authority, and customer service interactions.
Location: West Des Moines IA USA 50266
Shift: Hybrid - 2 Days in office (Thursday is anchor day, after training choose second day) - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process daily work associated with your department which may include asset movement, account transfers, or new account set-up and maintenance
  • Process routine and complex transactions in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
  • Proactively work to identify, interpret and resolve potential problems
  • Handle complex and escalated phone calls from representatives and customers to resolve issues
  • Provide support to our clients in all aspects of their business, including brokerage operations, advisory accounts, transfers, direct business, etc.
  • Provide support to our clients with the navigation and use of various technological systems associated with the Broker/Dealer
  • Maintain minimum call handling requirements and quality review scores while adhering to the assigned work schedule
  • Utilize the CRM (Client Relationship Management) tool to accurately record and note each call
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
  • Provide training support on department processes and system navigation
  • Independently follow procedures to meet service level agreements and achieve quality metrics
  • Learn, use, and support various financial products, software, and systems
  • Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry processing in a high-volume and deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail; the ability to process work accurately and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and think critically exercising good judgment
  • Excellent problem-resolution, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • Strong professional communication
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment
