Job description

Join Southern Shade Tree Co, a leading full-service landscaping and tree service provider with over 50 years of experience in exceeding client expectations in the Carolinas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to direct, organize, and control project activities in our Myrtle Beach Maintenance Division. Responsibilities
  • Direct, organize, and control project activities in the Landscape Division
  • Monitor daily schedules and job tracking
  • Regularly visit job sites to observe work organization, identify and resolve training issues, and ensure quality work
  • Manage labor teams and monitor staff hours to maintain company goal of less than 5% overtime
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to track progress and quality of work
  • Ensure client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Track and manage contemplated change notices and change orders
  • Organize and complete job task scheduling for team members
  • Communicate effectively with the landscape team and management
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Landscaping
  • Ability to manage 3-4 crews
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
Compensation
