Job description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:

The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing shop floor employees that perform a variety of aerospace manufacturing processes. The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the entire production timeline, from input to finished product or service. One of the primary roles of operations manager is to optimize day-to-day activities and streamline workflows to enhance profitability. Operations Manager is responsible for efficient and effective execution from work order release to shipment to customers. This individual must be able analyze capacity vs demand constraints and strategize how to navigate around bottlenecks and other operational challenges that may unfold. Additionally, they analyze and improve operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to increase productivity and efficiency. In addition to process improvement, they will provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Operations Manager role works very closely with the production planning group and the customer to effectively communicate priorities and meet deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with customers providing accurate delivery commitments
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
  • Troubleshoot problems with parts and equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are always followed.
