Materials Associate 
Pay Rate: Up to $21.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Monday – Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM or later, average opportunity of 5-10 hours overtime per week
Location: Comstock Park, MI
Contract / Temp-to-hire
(Indoor / Outdoor Work Setting)
Summary:
As a Materials Associate you will execute operations processing and preparing product orders of engineered wood, structural components and other building materials.
Work environment will consist of inside, and outside, work areas. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and order accuracy. This position requires well-defined detailed work, while producing repeatable and consistently accurate results. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize, load, and unload building materials using forklifts and other equipment
  • Accurately follow order details and schedules
  • Support warehouse and yard organization
  • Use hand and power tools to prepare orders
  • Use inventory systems to check stock
  • Calculate material measurements

Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused
  • Ability to lift 20–60 lbs. throughout the day
  • Comfortable with repetitive routines and teamwork
  • Willingness to work overtime if needed
