Are you an experienced Commercial Lines insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing complex accounts? Join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, where you'll independently manage an established book of business while partnering with Producers to deliver exceptional service and customized insurance solutions.


We're looking for a seasoned insurance professional with independent agency experience, strong technical knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, and the ability to confidently manage renewals, marketing, coverage analysis, and client relationships. Five (5) or more years of Commercial Lines account management experience with an independent insurance agency and multiple insurance carriers required.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage an assigned book of Commercial Lines accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Partner with Producers on renewal strategy, marketing, account retention, and account rounding.
  • Prepare marketing submissions, review carrier quotations, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and other account servicing activities.
  • Serve as the primary service contact for assigned clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Applied Epic.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and strengthening client relationships.
  • Stay current on carrier appetite, coverage changes, and industry trends.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines account management experience in an independent insurance agency.

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License Required.
  • Applied Epic experience preferred.
  • Experience with Commercial Lines coverages.
  • Independent Agency experience preferred.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including agency management software experience. Applied/EPIC preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
