Who We Are:
HaloMD specializes in Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) through The No Surprises Act and state regulations for out-of-network healthcare providers, leveraging advanced technology and deep industry expertise to secure optimized reimbursements.

Position Summary:
The Senior Learning Experience Designer creates high-impact training solutions for HaloMD employees across multiple delivery formats. This role requires a skilled instructional designer who can design complete facilitator-led training programs and develop engaging eLearning courses using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Vyond. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with exceptional writing skills who can translate complex information into accessible, engaging learning content while managing multiple projects independently and collaborating effectively with SMEs and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & Development:
  • Design and develop facilitator-led training programs including facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, and assessments.
  • Create engaging eLearning courses and blended learning solutions using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond.
  • Build interactive, multimedia-rich content including animations, videos, branching scenarios, and knowledge checks.
  • Develop learning materials such as workbooks, quick reference guides, infographics, and job aids
  • Apply instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to create effective learning solutions.
Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Partner with subject matter experts to extract knowledge, clarify content, and ensure accuracy.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Evaluation & Quality Assurance:
  • Design assessments and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Analyze feedback and program outcomes to continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Test eLearning courses across devices and browsers to ensure proper functionality.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to design standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, Education, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in instructional design with strong emphasis on both facilitator-led and eLearning program development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner) and OneNote.
  • Strong instructional design skills with ability to structure content logically and design meaningful assessments.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with meticulous attention to quality.
  • Self-directed with strong project management skills.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively with SMEs and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certification in instructional design (ATD, eLearning Guild, CPLP).
  • Experience in healthcare, technology, or corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508).
  • Experience with video production or motion graphics.
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management technology.
