Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Intern to join our healthcare administration team. This is a great opportunity for students, recent graduates, or individuals interested in gaining experience in healthcare operations and administration. The Credentialing Intern will support the Credentialing Department with administrative tasks related to provider enrollment, credentialing, onboarding, and communication with insurance payers and medical practices.
Responsibilities • Assist with organizing and maintaining provider credentialing files and documents.
• Help track enrollment applications and statuses.
• Communicate with providers, medical offices, and insurance payers regarding required documentation needed for compliant files.
• Support onboarding activities for new providers and practices.
• Update information in credentialing databases and spreadsheets.
• Assist with reports and follow-up tasks related to credentialing and enrollment.
• Provide general administrative support to the Credentialing team.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Qualifications
• High school diploma required; college students or recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Interest in healthcare administration, business, or medical office operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
