Job description

The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating insurance programs and maintaining insurance-related records for company-managed properties and operations. This role works closely with the Finance team to support risk management efforts, coordinate with insurance brokers and carriers, and help ensure appropriate insurance coverage is maintained.
Insurance Administration & Coordination
  • Coordinate insurance activities for company-managed properties and operations, including property, general liability, and other related policies
  • Manage insurance renewal timelines by gathering required information, coordinating submissions, and tracking completion of renewal activities
  • Review insurance policies, renewal documents, and coverage information for completeness and accuracy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party vendors regarding coverage inquiries, renewals, audits, and claims-related documentation
  • Maintain organized insurance records and ensure policy documents and coverage information are accurately maintained and readily accessible

Insurance Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain insurance certificates, endorsements, and policy documentation
  • Monitor insurance-related deadlines and coordinate the timely completion of required activities
  • Assist internal stakeholders with insurance-related requests, documentation, and information gathering
  • Ensure insurance records are complete, current, and organized in accordance with company requirements

Operational Support
  • Prioritize and coordinate multiple insurance-related activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Identify potential coverage, documentation, or compliance concerns and elevate issues to management as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools, reports, and processes to improve efficiency and organization
  • Prepare insurance summaries, renewal information, and related reports for management review
  • Assist with insurance audits, claims administration, and special projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
