Job description

Due to continued sales success, Zurich is looking for a Regional Income Development Executive to support the sales efforts in our California. This territory includes the southern portion in the state of California and and may include parts of other neighboring states. The ideal candidate will live in the territory.

Zurich Direct Markets specializes in providing Finance & Insurance (F&I) products, to the automotive industry. We have a dedicated sales force of F&I professionals who meet regularly and directly with our customers. 

Our Regional Income Development Executives support growth and profitability in an assigned region through sales related to Finance & Insurance book of business to maintain profitable relationships with new and existing customers. They will also:

  • Cultivate relationships and assist in driving production in current accounts and obtaining referrals for new F&I business opportunities in the Large Franchised Automotive Dealers space
  • Support performance and key initiatives to help drive growth and profitability through ongoing training and development within the dealerships
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders via the relevant medium – e-mail/intranet/newsletter to maintain good relationships.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, training events and other meetings to promote Zurich’s marketing efforts, as needed
  • Understand and respond to changing technology/IT requirements of customer accounts and gain internal buy-in to maintain good relationships.
  • Work from home in an entrepreneurial atmosphere
  • Earn a competitive base salary with a generous no cap incentive plan

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the sales area

            OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the sales area

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong knowledge of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
  • Dealership training experience
  • Advanced knowledge of technology within the dealership  
  • Basic knowledge of all F&I products
  • Knowledge of techniques and terminology of warranty claims
  • Ability to multi-task

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The annual variable compensation range, based on performance under the sales incentive plan for this role, is $65,900.00 - $107,900.00. This position included a variable component that is based on an individual's performance under the applicable sales incentive plan.
