Account Executive

We are seeking an Account Executive to generate new business and build strong partnerships with customers. In this role, you will be responsible for targeting and advancing strategic solution sales initiatives. You will have a proven track record of exceeding consultative sales goals and a passion for energy efficiency and the green economy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business through targeted outreach, networking, and campaigns
  • Move complex deals forward with purpose and accountability, from negotiation to successful close
  • Manage sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution, including expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Clearly articulate the company's business model and value proposition, effectively addressing objections and positioning solutions
  • Apply strong business and financial acumen to communicate ROI and overall value to clients
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to position and sell energy efficiency solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders
  • Research and prioritize target accounts and market segments to build and maintain a robust pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and quota
  • Maintains control of each deal, moving it consistently and purposefully toward close

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding annual sales quotas of $5M+, with a successful history of meeting or exceeding margin targets
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to build and communicate compelling business cases
  • Experience selling into multi-location businesses is a plus, including sectors such as: Manufacturing, Property Management, Retail, C-Store, Grocery, Food Manufacturing, Education, Hospitality/Hotels, Municipalities, and Restaurants
  • Demonstrated success in consultative, solution-based selling
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver compelling business narratives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms

Compensation: Salary: $90,000-$120,000 OTE: $180,000 - $250,000

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
