About the JobAbout Us

Our Client is a leading commercial electrical contractor, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable electrical solutions across a wide range of projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and help deliver accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work.

  • Review bid documents, plans, and specifications to fully understand project scope and requirements.

  • Perform take-offs from electrical plans and specifications using Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar software.

  • Ensure estimates comply with NEC and project requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to clarify scope and costs.

  • Review subcontractor bids and vendor quotes to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation using Bidtracer.

  • Maintain the estimating database to ensure up-to-date pricing information.

  • Follow up on estimates with customers in a timely manner.

  • Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with general contractors, developers, and end users.

  • Support continuous improvement in estimating procedures and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and openness to adopting and utilizing AI technologies to drive smarter, more efficient solutions.


Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction.

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements.

  • Ability to work independently to produce accurate and competitive estimates.

  • Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid) and plan review tools (Bluebeam).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Hands-on electrical field experience preferred.
