As asustainability engineer,you'llimplement projects that advance our goals ofsustainingourcarbon-neutralstatusand achievingnet zero within the next decade.You'llwork on projects relating to the procurement of energy, renewable energy certificate (REC), and carbon offsets. In this role,you'llcontribute to the Corporate Sustainability Report (CSR), perform research and complex analysis, andidentifymarket trends. In addition, you'll collaborate with groups across the business to achieve goals and make a positive impact on our environment through technical innovation, energy conservation,waste reduction, water conservation,and accomplish strategies that are impactful to our employees, our customers, and the communities where we do business.
Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
Must-have qualifications
  • A minimum of ten years of field engineering experience
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field of study and a minimum of seven years of field engineering experience

Preferred skills
  • Working knowledge of corporate operations including fleet management, EV (electric vehicle) charging stations, corporate travel, recycling, on-site renewable energy, and smart buildings, as they relate to reducing carbon emissions, energy use, and waste.
  • Experience introducing alternative sustainable solutions into existing business processes.
  • Solid understanding of energy sectors, emission mitigation tools such as REC's, carbon offsets, and technology related to emission reduction.
  • Proventrack recordof proposing innovative solutions, implementing them, and measuring their impact.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.

Compensation
  • $89,600 - $119,500/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
