Job Description

Join Allstate's Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients.
Based in Tennessee, this remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense matters, including bodily injury and third-party liability. You'll take ownership of the litigation lifecycle - from preparing answers and managing discovery to supporting motion practice and trial preparation. With access to hands-on training and mentorship from a collaborative team, you'll build deep expertise in a fast-paced, team-driven legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
  • Draft and file pleadings, including preparing answers, and support discovery andpreparingmotionsfor attorney review
  • Order and track medical records; coordinate IMRs and vendor engagement with medical experts
  • Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including exhibits and jury instructions when applicable
  • Handle e-filing across Tennessee courts
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
  • Maintain organized file management, including claim files and litigation documents
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to support case progression
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to maintain high-quality case work
Education
  • Must meet all applicable paralegal certification, registration, or licensure requirements as defined by the state of Tennessee
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience supporting litigation involving bodily injury and/or third-party claims preferred
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
  • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 28.03 - 42.99 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
