The Role
The Data Intelligence team is chartered with advancing data driven decision making across Acrisure. As a member of the Data Intelligence Team, you will be responsible for leading the requirements gathering, design, implementation and delivery of reporting and analytics capabilities for Finance and Accounting Business Functions. You will be comfortable working across a wide variety of people including senior executive leadership, analysts, program management, and technical team members.
Here are some of the ways in which you'll achieve impact:
  • Drive the development of efficient and reliable reporting and analytics capabilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Advance the transition of users from legacy means of accessing information to the future state strategies of data enablement and self-service.
  • Create presentation/visualization of data to see beyond the numbers while transforming raw data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify, adopt, and evangelize data analysis best practices and technical standards.
  • Advocate for and identify creative implementations to optimize business impact.
  • Empower others to grow understanding of the complexity of data by creatively scaling how teams' knowledge is shared and applied
  • Help identify better practices, tools, and relevant trends that can improve data quality across the business.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Professional serving the finance and accounting business functions.
  • A passion for building remarkable things with data.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a data storyteller and can go deep in building data visualizations and reporting using third party tools (Tableau and PowerBI).
  • Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Proficiency working with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand process and translate them to data and create/evaluate associated KPIs.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, dbt, BigQuery, Git, Palantir and data modeling
  • Experience with agile project execution and business tools such as Jira & ServiceNow
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills and can unpack complex problems in order to find solutions.
  • Ability to understand the business purpose or problem behind a request.
  • Positive & creative problem solving in the face of data challenges.
  • Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong teamwork, solution-centric, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Possess empathy, kindness towards others, a positive attitude, and self-awareness.
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
