Job description

Job Tittle : Data Modeler
Location : Cary NC
Once knowledge transfer into the data modeling team is completed, the Data Modeler will:
• Under minimal supervision, analyze complex business requirements, translate them to data requirements and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Partner with development teams to ensure best design solutions for most efficient use of data
• manage plan, organize, and implement multiple and complex data and information design tasks
• Help devise standards and processes, to adjust for rapidly changing technologies and environments
Skills List:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 8-12 years work experience in database design, including at least 3 years' experience as a Data Modeler using Erwin.
• EXPERT Erwin data modeling skills is must.
• Thorough mastery of logical and physical data modeling
• SQL DB technology in multiple platforms
• Should hold excellent/Hands-on knowledge in Insurance and Data warehouse knowledge.
• Should hold excellent/Hands-on knowledge using MapReduce programming models.
• Emerging No-SQL and Azure Cloud DB approaches and challenges - and how to model
• Personality that gets involved and influences those around. Can lead those that are not on our team to execute our standard Enterprise Data Modeling point-of-view
• Very effective oral and written abilities
• Excellent analytical and investigative ability for modellings.
