Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Material Master Data Analyst in Chesterfield, MO.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Master Data Management:
* Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP Material Master data structures, governance, and lifecycle management
* Maintain, create, and update material master data in SAP to support business operations
* Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across global systems
* Enforce data governance standards, policies, and best practices
Data Governance & Quality:
* Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and duplication across systems
* Execute data cleansing and harmonization initiatives as part of ongoing improvement efforts
* Support development and adherence to data governance frameworks and controls
* Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs
Business Process Integration:
* Partner with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.) to understand process requirements
Ensure material master data supports end-to-end business processes, including:
* Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
* Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Manufacturing/Production Planning:
* Analyze data dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts across SAP modules
Program & Implementation Support:
* Support global SAP rollout and stabilization efforts, including data readiness and transition activities
* Participate in data migration, validation, and cutover tasks
* Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality
* Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, integrations, and automation opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of experience in SAP with a strong focus on:
* Material Master Data
* SAP Materials Management (MM)
Deep understanding of:
* Material types, views, and attributes
* Data dependencies across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.)
* Proven experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management roles
* Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a strong ability to execute and problem-solve
* Experience supporting global or enterprise-scale SAP environments
* Strong communication skills to partner with both technical and functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting S/4HANA transformations or large-scale SAP rollouts
* Exposure to manufacturing environments and related data structures
* Familiarity with data migration tools, governance tools, or MDG solutions
* Experience working in global teams across time zones
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
