Job description

THE ROLE:

Top-tier AmLaw 200 firm seeking coverage counsel for Chicago office. Handle coverage litigation, policy analysis, and appellate work across CGL, E&O, excess, and professional liability. Work directly with Fortune 500 insurers and corporate counsel on complex disputes.

Responsibilities include: policy analysis and coverage opinions, discovery management, coverage motions, trial preparation, and appellate work on coverage issues.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-7 years insurance coverage litigation or counsel experience
  • Strong writing skills (opinions, briefs, discovery)
  • Multi-line coverage background preferred
  • Illinois bar or willing to get admitted
  • Appellate mindset
