Overview

Physicians Mutual is seeking an Advertising Compliance Analyst to ensure marketing and advertising materials comply with company standards and applicable state and federal regulations. In this role, you will analyze advertising content, develop compliant marketing materials, and partner with internal teams to support timely, accurate marketing campaigns across multiple distribution channels. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical, writing, and design skills who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with company standards and state, federal, FCC, and NAIC regulations.
  • Develop and maintain compliant advertising materials, including state-specific versions of brochures, letters, webpages, emails, telemarketing scripts, and other marketing content.
  • Research regulatory changes and interpret advertising requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory Coordinators, and business partners to review, revise, and approve advertising materials.
  • Manage advertising approval submissions and maintain documentation through regulatory review systems.
  • Update advertising templates, documentation, and digital assets to reflect current regulations and company standards.
  • Participate in company projects and compliance assessments, providing recommendations to improve processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field required.
  • 2-3 years of compliance, advertising, marketing, or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Figma, or similar desktop publishing software preferred.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing, consumer marketing, and advertising production processes preferred.
