Job description

Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN for our Emergency Department to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The RN will assess and treat patients with acute and critical conditions while communicating effectively with providers, patients, and families.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and urgent health conditions.
  • Perform triage, prioritizing patient care based on clinical assessment and acuity.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and perform procedures within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with Emergency Department physicians, mid-level providers, and allied health staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with orientation and guidance for Emergency Department technicians and support staff.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (required).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing (required).
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required).
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications (required or obtained within 6 months of hire).
Compensation
  • USD $60,000 to $80,000
