Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the intake, logging, and tracking of new incidents in the claims management system
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, correspondence, and documentation
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute incident-related reports and spreadsheets
  • Communicate with adjusters and internal departments to gather or relay information
  • Track deadlines (e.g., statute of limitations, policy renewal dates, follow-up dates) and send reminders
  • Assist with data entry and quality checks to ensure accuracy of claims records
  • Request and obtain police reports and other documentation relevant to claims investigations
  • Support special projects or audits as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of administrative or clerical experience (insurance, claims, or legal setting a plus)
  • Familiarity with insurance policy types (general liability, workers' comp, property, auto)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
