Job Title: Data Entry SpecialistJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a Data Entry Specialist where you will play a crucial role in managing high-volume order entry and customer service in a life sciences company. This position offers a hybrid work schedule in San Diego, with an opportunity to be part of a large onboarding group.

Responsibilities
  • Process a high volume of daily orders into a database or order management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Manage both inbound phone calls and email inquiries, providing professional and patient customer service across multiple channels.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies quickly and accurately to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Navigate customer frustrations and resolve order problems effectively, especially during the implementation of new systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information and adhere to structured, process-driven workflows.
Essential Skills
  • Hands-on experience with high-volume order processing and management systems.
  • Proven customer service experience, managing inquiries via phone and email.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to prevent errors impacting fulfillment.

The environment is fast-paced and high-volume, focused on order management, requiring strict confidentiality and professionalism.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
