LOCATION AND WORK:
Remote employees may be considered; however, preference is given to those who can work in the Cleveland, Ohio, Emerald Isle, North Carolina, or Charlotte, North Carolina office. Work from office policy is in effect three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday).
ABOUT THE POSITION:
TransImpact is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer I to join our Professional Services team. The Business Intelligence Developer I is an early-career data professional focused on learning and applying business intelligence tools and techniques to support the development of dashboards, data models, and reports under guidance from senior team members in support of our SaaS solutions. As part of the Professional Services team at TransImpact, you will be working to implement and configure our SaaS solutions in Supply Chain and Logistics, as well as supporting development for our clients with our Analytics solutions. This role is a client-facing, consulting-type role and is responsible for billable work. This position offers clear career progression into Business Intelligence Developer II and III roles and ultimately into Senior Business Intelligence Developer roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and manage Power BI reports / visualizations and models.
  • Implement the data integration components of our product-based implementations using ImpactHub, SQL Stored Procedures, and ADF.
  • Document report specifications and participate in testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across SQL and BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and refine deliverables.
  • Follow established implementation and development standards.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 0 to 1 years' experience with Microsoft BI technologies
  • Classroom, internship, or prior work experience with: Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders
  • Must align with and exemplify TransImpact's Core Values
