Job description

About the Role

At Liberty Insurance Agency, no two days look the same. As an Commercial Insurance Technical Associate on the Enterprise Accounts team, you'll do far more than check boxes; you'll help keep hundreds of businesses running smoothly by supporting projects, coordinating information, solving problems, and improving the way work gets done.

If you love fast-paced environments, solving puzzles, and constantly learning, this role gives you a front-row seat to nearly every part of our business, and an excellent foundation for where you go next.

Work Schedule

This is a hybrid role: you'll be in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work from home Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. During your initial training period, expect more time in the office so we can get you set up for success. We’ll shift to the regular hybrid schedule once you're up to speed.

What You'll Be Doing

On a typical day, you'll:

• Partner with teammates to manage fast-moving client projects from start to finish.

• Review documents and information for accuracy before they reach clients.

• Coordinate with business partners to keep requests moving and resolve outstanding issues.

• Research questions, track down answers, and help solve problems before they become obstacles.

• Organize critical information across multiple systems while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Communicate with clients and business partners through email, phone, and digital platforms.

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows using technology, automation, and AI tools.

• Help create smarter, faster processes that improve both the client and employee experience.

• Jump into new challenges, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives as our company continues to grow.

This role gives you exposure to nearly every aspect of our business and provides an excellent foundation for future advancement.

Who Thrives Here

We're looking for people who are naturally curious, competitive with themselves, and excited to learn. You'll likely be successful if you:

• Have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

• Love learning new systems and figuring out better ways to accomplish work.

• Enjoy fast-paced environments where priorities change throughout the day.

• Have exceptional attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

• Think critically instead of simply following instructions.

• Are comfortable using technology and excited about AI becoming part of everyday work.

• Communicate professionally and confidently with teammates and clients.

• Take ownership, ask questions, and continuously look for ways to improve.

A couple of practical requirements for everyone on our team:

• Authorization to work in the United States; we're unable to sponsor work visas for this role.

• Reliable transportation to our office on scheduled in-office days; must reside within commuting distance to our Pittsburgh office.

Previous insurance experience isn't required but a plus. We'll teach you our industry and help you obtain your insurance license after you join.

Why You'll Love Working Here

Big Agency Resources. Small Team Culture. Endless Opportunity.

At Liberty Insurance Agency, you'll have the resources of a nationally recognized independent agency with the culture of a close-knit team. We combine industry-leading carrier relationships, innovative technology, and extensive resources with an environment where people know your name, value your ideas, and genuinely care about your success, both professionally and personally.

We believe great workplaces are built on trust, collaboration, and flexibility. We celebrate achievements together, invest in our employees' growth, and create opportunities to connect through team events and company celebrations. We also recognize that life doesn't always fit into a schedule, which is why we strive to support our team with understanding and flexibility when it matters most.

• Clear career paths with opportunities for rapid advancement.

• Hands-on mentorship from experienced leaders.

• Exposure to multiple areas of the business.

• A collaborative team that celebrates success together.

• Hybrid work flexibility after training.

• Modern technology and AI tools that help you work smarter.

• Employee events, team celebrations, and a culture that values work-life balance.

When our people grow, our company grows.

Compensation

This role offers a salary in the $45,000–$55,000 range, based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with room to grow as you take on more responsibility.

Who We’re Looking For

This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career, not simply find their next job. If you're motivated, intellectually curious, eager to learn, and looking for a company where your growth is limited only by your ambition, we'd love to meet you!
