Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and grow the agencys Commercial Lines book, focusing on quality, profitability, and long-term relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for business insurance: prospecting, quoting, presenting, binding, servicing, and renewing.
  • Assess business risks and recommend tailored coverage solutions, including BOP, GL, WC, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, EPLI, Property, and industry-specific packages.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses, networking groups, and referral sources.
  • Provide exceptional client communication, policy reviews, mid-term changes, and claims coordination with professionalism and confidence.
  • Stay updated on underwriting guidelines, carrier appetite, and commercial product changes.
  • Collaborate with the Agent and team to strategize marketing efforts, outreach plans, and commercial growth opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals tied to production, retention, and client satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Commercial insurance experience required agency, brokerage, or carrier side.
  • Strong understanding of business insurance products, underwriting, and risk assessment.
  • Professional, polished communication skills with the confidence to speak with business owners, contractors, executives, and investors.
  • Proven track record in sales, account management, or commercial servicing.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a busy commercial pipeline and multiple deadlines.
  • Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Property & Casualty license.
