As we grow, we're seeking a motivated and licenced In-House life Insurance Agent to join our team.

Job Summary

The In-House Life Insurance agent will be responsible for providing tailored life insurance solutions to clients, conducting consultations, managing policy sales and renewal, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of life insurance products and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-house consultations with prospective and existing clients to assess life insurance needs.
  • Educate clients on different life insurance products including term, whole, universal life insurance and disability.
  • Recommend suitable policies and provide quotes using Desjardins tools and in-house software.
  • Process new applications and follow up on underwriting and approvals.
  • Manage renewals, policy changes, and customer service inquires.
  • Ensure compliance with all Provincial and Federal insurance regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members in cross-selling financial products when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Active life insurance license in Alberta (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in life insurance sales (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
